Hi Sally

I think it's great to read that plays with your daughter in the film. :)
When I read your lines I think we have much in common.

I work as a seamstress in a Fashion Shop and moderate the fashion shows.
My daughter (Sylvia is 13) is running as a model. She has great fun to show the mode.
It is quite amazing, to see if the children develop their own ego.
Anyway, I think so fast, we are almost in the same age. ;)

Due to the many here on Jeremy's page and write your lines, I am still eager to film. :)
Have a nice Sunday.
Regards

Regina

Hi Regina
That's so great that Sylvia works with you. I bet she does really well. I know you probably
get as much pleasure from seeing her model as you do in your seamstress duties.

I hope you get to write your stories and enjoy being creative.

Best to you!!

Sally

Just a general contest question:
If a poll ends up being open longer than 24 hours, are the counted votes only from that 24 hour period or until the poll is closed?

Hi jeremysgirlx8.

This is a good question, and one that I am working on solving right now. The poll not closing on time last night was my mistake. I thought I had set it to automatically close at the 24 hour point when I posted it, but apparently did not. But the length of the poll voting is clear on the post, so no votes should count past the 24 hour period. I will be going through the voting and making an adjustment to remove votes after the deadline today and announce the winner after that is done.

James,
Thank you very much for your response :) I'm very glad to hear that there's a way to adjust the poll and any future polls for this contest to make sure that only votes made during the 24-hour period(which I think was around 8:00 PM last night,if I remember correctly) will count.
Thanks again!

I'm glad to see i wasn't the only one confused =\ i checked the thread around 8 PM last night and saw that jeremysgirlx8 was winning but the poll was still open so I assumed that other people's votes were being counted even past the deadline? idk, i was just a little confused

Yes. Sorry for the confusion. The poll should have closed automatically, but it looks like I made a mistake and didn't set it properly for that poll.

Oh...well, it's good to know that it's working. But why did it give me the little circles to vote with and then send me a message saying that I couldn't vote in this poll? I don't mind if you remove the vote, I understand if it was after the deadline. But why did it give me that message?

I do not know why it would have done that. I'm guessing possibly the board might have been responding with a delay at that time. But I can say for sure that the vote did register.

I know it might sound a bit random, but.... That's an idea for a movie, a mom (seamstress) and a daughter (model). I don't know what the storyline would be, but I think it could be really fun and sweet. Maybe something like the daughter has fallen in love with a really cute model that's been hired to work the same show as her and they both find out that the other is just a nice, normal person. I don't know.... Something like that. haha

That's a cool idea for a movie. I'll have to keep that in the back of my mind.

Hi Sally
Hi Jessie

You will not believe it, but something is actually happening already.
It started four years ago when my daughter Sylvia to the first fashion show was running.
I have a fellow whose son is in the same age and also participated as a model.
They were both 10 years old.
Sylvia had fallen in love with him. Both fooled around and were pleased to forward to the next time now a love is not have become, at least until today, not yet.
But they are good friends and still have contact.
I moderate only been two years, the fashion show, but it's always nice to do both.

Greetings from

Regina

And thanks to everyone who participated in the contest. You all did a great job! We'll be officially announcing the winners in a few hours when the Question 12 Poll ends. And there will be a surprise announcement too.

I have a question for all of the contestants...

Did you have a favorite of all of the questions you participated in? Which one was the most fun for you?

And for contest observers...

Were there any questions or a single question that stood out as your favorite when reading the responses?

I'm just curious. :)

My favorite question to answer was question #4. That question was special to me because I was able to apply my parents' real-life love story to answer the question. "brown eyed girl" being their song, my mom's uncle prediction, etc it was all true and I was able to really speak from the heart about what I'd truly say if my parents were drifting apart, and that meant a lot to me :)

I also enjoyed writing a poem for question number 3 :)

A lot of the questions were fun to answer in different ways, and with writing being a great passion of mine I really enjoyed answering them :)
