Has anyone seen the new Tim Burton, Alice in Wonderland with Johnny depp and Helena Bonham Carter? I really want to see this film because I love Tim Burtons style of films and alot of the cast in this film.

I want to see this also. :( I've heard some good things about it from some friends and family who have seen it. I can't wait to see Burton's take on Wonderland. :)

The trailers I have seen and the reviews I have read are good. It looks a very dark film.

I liked it. I don't know if it's a film I'd buy but I liked the fact that it did not try to retell the Disney version of the story. Johnny Depp was wonderful to watch and I think it's one of Helena Bonham Carter's more better roles. And it's always worth to watch a film with Alan even though he only did a voice for a character.

When you say Alan, are you referring to Alan Rickman? If yes I would have to agree he is ace.

Yes, I was referring to Alan Rickman. :) It's the only reason why I watch Harry Potter films, that and Ralph Fiennes is in it.

I thought it was great, had a nice big lead up to the end with the dragon fight, but then the dragon was kind of small and pathetic. I just thought, "Well duh Alice can get that thing!" I was hoping for something large and epic, like the dragons from Lord of the Rings, but maybe those were only more scary because they had ring wraiths on their back. The one in the new Harry Potter trailer looks pretty awesome too.
