Hey all.

Just got an InterAction post from Jeremy and it is now up on the website. Here is a direct link to his InterAction page:

And here is what he had to say:

QUOTE
As you probably know, I've been busy filming "Soul Surfer." It's a very inspirational story with a great cast and crew and terrific producers and director. I've been fortunate to be able to have my parents come to location with me in Hawaii. Jessy and Gigi are busy with college so they couldn't make it.

During the filming of a surf scene last week, I slipped off my surf board and slammed my knee into the reef. The leash to my surf board got caught on the coral and I was held under water for about 45 seconds. I was able to finally get away and swim to the surface but my knee hurt so I had to have an MRI on it to see if I had torn anything. Fortunately it was only bruised and I didn't miss any filming. Everyone took a day off as the location was evacuated due to the potential tsunami. We drove up into the hills and waited it out. Now we've returned and everything is back to normal. We were filming again today, it's good to be back in the water! I have about another ten days of filming before I wrap. I'll have some pictures of the trip when I return to LA.

Jeremy

Glad it was only a bruise and that he was not caught underwater for very long. That is kind of scary. I'm also very happy that they were all able to get to safety during the tsunami and are able to get back to filming so quickly. And that's really cool that his parents got to come along. smile.gif

I can't believe how quickly it seems the filming for "Soul Surfer" went. I'm glad Jeremy did have any severe injuries but sorry he got hurt. I can't imagine being caught under water. 45 minutes sure seems like a long time when you can't break free. Glad his family could go see him on the set. I'm jealous. I totally would have taken his sister's place and watched him surf. Can't wait to see pictures from the set. I wonder if he took any good ones of the tsunami yesterday.

Thank you so much for posting the interaction and keeping us updated with Jeremy, James. And to Mark also. I like the March interaction picture too. I can't wait to watch FNL again. Turn your television sets on April 30 at 9:00 PM. smile.gif

Yes, I can't wait for FNL too. And 45 seconds can seem like a while, I bet if you are also expending energy trying to break free. Glad he wasn't seriously hurt and I'm also glad he was able to give us an update during the filming. smile.gif

Its nice he hasn't forgotten his fans completely. It is a long awaited InterAction since the last one. Its nice to here he was safe and not injured. I hate the idea of being stuck under water for any length of time, it gives me shivers just thinking about it.

Thanks for posting this James.
