Jeremy's Update - Thursday, March 06, 2008

Hey Everyone:

It’s been a busy 2008 for me. I spent my birthday at Universal CityWalk where I did the indoor skydiving twice and then had a quiet dinner at the Hard Rock. Now that the writer’s strike is over, things have been getting busy. I’ve been reading a lot of good scripts and am considering some new project.

“Prep School” looks like it will be delayed a bit so that may push “Word Of Mouth” to summer. I hope to have some more news soon on the movies.

I’ve also been doing some work on One Village, One World. They have some exciting programs that will begin soon.

I appreciate everyone who has sent letters and I try to answer as many as I can.

Jeremy's Update - Thursday, December 20, 2007

Hi Everyone:

I just got in from playing baseball which I try and do once a week when I am in town. I also returned from Ashland, Oregon where we shot "Calvin Marshall." Steve Zahn was great to work with, he's a really funny guy and was perfectly cast as the coach. Alex Frost and Michelle Lombardo were a lot of fun also. We'll post some pictures soon.

For Thanksgiving, I went to Miami and had 8 fun days, mainly playing golf so that was great. I'm going away for Christmas for a little vacation, but I'll tell you more about that in my next InterAction.

I'm looking forward to my next movies and am really enjoying working in the independent film world.

Things will start to get active with One Village, One World. They'll have some exciting news soon.

Thanks for your cards and letters and your friendship. I really appreciate it. I hope everyone has a happy holiday.

Jeremy's Update - Friday, October 05, 2007

Hey Everyone:

Incase you haven't heard, I attended the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party this past month with my new girlfriend, Alyssa. We also went to the Declare Yourself 2007 event, which was organized to encourage 18 year olds to register to vote. I’ve been receiving a lot of questions about how Alyssa and I met so hopefully this will answer some of them...

Alyssa and I had a lot of the same friends but had never met even though she had been in Los Angeles for about a year. Then we both went to the same party. The next day we ran into each other at one of the studios, so I asked her out. We dated for about five months, broke up for a bit, then resumed dating and have been together for about ten months. Alyssa is an actress and singer and is also represented by my manager.

I am working on putting everything together to shoot the African documentary next year. Kevin Schmidt, who worked with me on “Clubhouse,” is also involved and we plan on co-directing the documentary. We have a lot of work to do on it and then will need to raise the financing.

I may be shooting a movie in Canada in December so my Canadian fans should look out for me. We’re still waiting for everything to close before we can talk about it.

It looks like “Sasquatch” will finally come out and I expect to be doing some publicity for it over the coming months.

I’m also playing on a softball team so I haven’t had much time to play as much golf as I would like to. That’s about all for now. I hope everyone has a fun Halloween.

Jeremy's Update - Saturday, August 11, 2007

Hi Everyone:

I've been in and out of town a lot of in the last two months. I went on the family raft trip and it was fun to see all of my cousins again. It's nice to have the summer off and I've been playing my usual sports.

I'm still reading a lot of scripts and I'm attached to a couple of films but don't know how soon they might start. That's the way it goes with independent films. Once they go into production we'll be able to announce more details. One of the films may shoot in Australia.

I've heard that "Sasquatch" might come out in October but nothing official yet. I also talked to the director of "An American Crime" who said it will definitely have a release date.

I hope everyone is having a great summer.

Jeremy's Update - Saturday, June 02, 2007

Hi Everyone:

I've been keeping busy reading scripts and having meetings on projects. There are 2 or 3 films that may be shot this year that I am attached to.

One is takes place at a preparatory school. Another is a family film with a lot of action, which I mentioned in my last InterAction, and the third is an edgy teen murder mystery. I don't know how soon they will film but I'm hoping to get in 1 or 2 of them before the end of the year.

I also went to a meeting in Detroit last month regarding One Village, One World. Plans are moving forward quickly and I hope my fans will want to get involved. I'll give you more details as they become available.

Otherwise I've been playing a little golf, a lot of basketball and hanging out with friends.

Jeremy's Update - Saturday, March 31, 2007

Hi Everyone:

Thanks for coming to the chat in February. I had a quiet birthday, celebrating with my family. I've been surfing and fishing a lot lately.

I'm hoping to have some news on "Sasquatch" soon. It looks like it is getting closer to being released. I'll also start doing promotion for it and "An American Crime" when official release dates are announced.

I am looking at two independent projects. One would be an action film shooting later in the year. The other is a dramatic film. Once we have definite news, I'll let you know.

OVOW, the charity I am working with, is starting to get a little more active. I may go to Africa sometime this year to see first hand about what can be done. I'm also considering shooting a documentary on this trip. That's about all for now. Thanks for all the nice comments about "CSI: Miami."

Jeremy's Update - Friday, January 12, 2007

Hi Everyone:

I had a good Christmas and got a great sandwedge and the NFL 2007 game. I’ve been playing the game a lot. I hope you had a happy holiday! I spent a quiet New Years playing poker with my family.

I just started working on an episode of "CSI: Miami." I’m having a lot of fun and there are crew members from "Clubhouse" and "Local Boys," so it’s good to see some familiar faces. This is a first class show so I’m happy to be working on it. I’ll let you be surprised about the character I am playing.

I’ve been doing the usual, playing sports, catching up with school and reading scripts. There are some interesting projects coming up so I may choose something soon. That’s about all for now. Thanks to everyone for your cards and letters.

Jeremy's Update - Thursday, December 07, 2006

Hi Everyone...

Sorry for taking so long to post a new InterAction. I was waiting to hear if "An American Crime" was going to be accepted to the Sundance Film Festival. It was but I still don't know which day it will premiere. If I'm available, I'm going to try and make it up there this year. I also don't have any new details on "Sasquatch" other than it looks like it will get some kind of theatrical release.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Stephanie Shewell event. It was a great success and I appreciate everyone who made a donation. Thanks Jeremy's Angels!

As usual, I'm trying to catch up with my school work and try and play a round of golf or a basketball game or two in my spare time. Hopefully I'll have more news in the next InterAction.

Jeremy's Update - Saturday, October 07, 2006

Hi Everyone,

I've had a busy month trying to catch up with school work, playing some sports and going to a party or two.

But what I really wanted to talk about is the charity event I did for "One Village One World." I made a surprise visit to Detroit Country Day School in Beverly Hills, Michigan last week. I am the celebrity spokesperson for student awareness for "One Village One World" which is a "Community Sponsored" village contributor to Millennium Promise Organization (MP). MP Board of Directors includes Angelina Jolie.

The goal is to bring people together to sponsor villages and help them become self-sufficient within five years. Progress can be viewed via their web-site.

I hope you will visit the web site at: http://www.onevillageoneworld.org/studentscorner.asp and support this amazing charity effort to change history. There is so much poverty and disease in these villages and it doesn't take a lot to saves lives. Madonna has sponsored an MP village in Malawi.

In the photo from the event, I am with Danielle Still, Spokesperson for Student Awareness who invited me to the event and my mother.

Also, there is a petition to support the theatrical release of the "Sasquatch Dumpling Gang." I hope you will all sign it at: http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/SDGinTheaters

Jeremy's Update - Thursday, August 31, 2006

Hi Everyone:

I've been spending my time playing golf, tennis, bowling and just relaxing.

We're getting ready to screen the short film we shot at the NYIFF. There's more information on the front page of the web site. If you are in Los Angeles, come on by and say hello and stay for the after party!

I'm looking at scripts as usual and there are a few things coming up later this year and early next year that might be fun to work on but we haven't made any final decisions yet.

School starts next week and I'll be home schooling again this year. I'm taking Government, Economics, British Literature and a computer class. Sorry this InterAction is so short but I've just been relaxing and doing charity events.

Jeremy's Update - Tuesday, July 11, 2006

Hey Everyone:

We finished filming "An American Crime" on July 1. It was a quick shoot and it had a great cast and crew. Ellen Page was perfectly cast as "Sylvia." Catherine Keener was amazing, she even scared people on the set. It's a depressing story but also very intense and powerful. It's hard to believe this actually happened. When you see this movie, you won't like most of the kids in it. It was really interesting to play a character so unlike myself. If this movie makes just one person report child abuse that is going on, then it was all worth it.

I met James Franco at the table read for the movie but didn't have any scenes with him. He was a nice guy. Most of my scenes were with Scout and the other kids. The wrap party was held at Cinespace in Hollywood. There was a lot of music, dancing and Star Wars was shown on the movie screen.

Several weeks ago, "Sasquatch Dumpling Gang" was screened at one of the local high schools for the drama students. I also attended and did a Q&A afterward. It was a lot of fun and there was a good reaction to the movie. I can hardly wait until it is in theaters.

I was the director of photography on a short film that my father wrote, directed and produced called "The Binge." I learned how much work shooting a film was since I did all the lighting. The short turned out really well and we may enter it in some film festivals.

I've been chilling at the pool, surfing when I can and seeing friends. Thanks again and I hope you enjoy your summer!

Jeremy's Update - Friday, June 02, 2006

Hi Everyone,

Thanks again for writing to me! I've been keeping busy doing charity events, working on a short film and working on my script.

On May 1st, I played in the Nack n' Smack Celebrity Golf Tournament at the El Caballero golf course in Tarzana. It was a lot of fun. I met Jose Canseco and he let me practice with his golf clubs. He's a really cool guy.

I also went to the opening of the new Tatsu ride at Magic Mountain in Valencia. They decided to have a bunch of young actors be the first to ride it at a press event a few days before it opened. We rode it twice and then went on most of the other rides in the park. Go check it out.

My father is shooting a short film so I am working as the DP (Director of Photography) on it. We're having a lot of fun and it will take about a week to ten days to finish.

I love driving my car around town and have been playing a lot of basketball with my friends and just chillen out. I went surfing yesterday for the first time in a long time.

My friend went skydiving on his 18th birthday. We all went along to watch. So now I know what I'm going to do on my 18th!

I have decided not to finish my script on Iraq but am concentrating on the action-adventure script which will take about a year to write. That about all for now. We should have some news on a new project soon.

Jeremy's Update - Thursday, March 30, 2006

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for all your messages and letters!

I just got a new silver '06 Mustang so I've been driving all over LA. I've also been shooting some short films with my friends Spike and Arman. We are using a Sony HD camera so it's a lot of fun.

I've been looking for a cool film script but there don't seem to be a lot out there right now until pilot season is finished. I looked at a couple of television series but there wasn't really anything I thought was spectacular.

So in addition to playing a lot of basketball, golf and bowling, I've been watching March Madness, hoping that UK does well. I recently saw "V for Vendetta" (pretty good) and "Failure to Launch" (not bad).

Now that "Sasquatch" has been picked up by Sony, they should announce a release date soon and I imagine that I will be doing some promotion for the film. Once I know more details, I'll let you know. Thanks again!

Jeremy's Update - Tuesday, February 07, 2006

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for all the cards, gifts and messages that you sent me and Jessy for our birthday! We had a few friends over, had dinner and watched the Super Bowl. Since I have cousins in Seattle, half of my family was for the Seahawks and the other half for the Steelers.

I'm looking forward to seeing the "Sasquatch Dumpling Gang" on Wednesday. It will be the first time I will see it. I don't know when it will be released but it should be sometime this year. I'm catching up with school work and reading scripts, looking for something really good. Hope you can make it to the chat on the 11th.

Jeremy's Update - Tuesday, December 13, 2005

Hey Everyone,

I just got back from a quick trip to New York where I saw a bunch of shows like "Hairspray," "Carman" at the Metropolitan Opera, and I also went to a planetarium. "Carmen" was in French and I didn't know how much I would like it, but it was really good. It was great to be back in the cold weather and snow. We don't get much of that in Los Angeles. LOL I also went ice skating in Central Park which was a lot of fun.

I had coffee with Anna Popplewell and her mother. Anna's brother Freddie was in "Peter Pan." I'm happy Anna's movie is doing so well and I got to see it back in LA last night.

Thanks to everyone who has been posting messages on the message board. Since I've been away I haven't had a chance to read them in the last couple of weeks but will look at them in the next few days.

I'm looking a a few scripts but want to wait until something really good comes along. I'll be doing a chat in January or February.

This year I will be spending Christmas in Los Angeles and hope to get to the beach if the surf is good.

Although I'm dating when I have time, I'm not dating anyone steady.

I'd like to get back to Australia again soon since I have so many friends there.

I hope you have a happy holiday and a happy New Year!

Jeremy's Update - Thursday, November 03, 2005

Hey Everyone:

Sorry, I've been so busy and haven't had a chance to post until now. Last month I went to northern California to play in the Eddie Money Golf Tournament. It was my first celebrity golf tournament and a lot of fun. My team came in 3rd out of 24 teams. I also went to the local high school to speak to the students.

I went to two other great charity events, the Juvenile Diabetes Walk in Santa Monica and the Ronald McDonald Halloween event at Universal Studios. It was good to see my old friend Tessa who does an incredible job of raising money for Juvenile Diabetes.

I've also been driving around now that I have my driver's license. I'd like to get a BMW.

Thanks for everyone who is posting messages on the message board. I stop in when I can to read them!

I'm still home schooled and have had a chance to actually get ahead with my classes. My favorite class is science and my least favorite is math.

I went to a screening of Jarhead with one of my friends who is in the movie. I also did the looping on Sasquatch Dumpling Gang. It looks funny so I hope you like it! They still don't know when it will be released, but hopefully sometime next spring or summer.

Rachel is coming to LA in a week or two for her new movie. It will be good to see her again. Don't worry we're not dating. She's bringing her boyfriend with her. She's always a lot of fun.

I'm looking forward to the Rolling Stones concert later this week. I'm also going to buy a Sony HD video camera to shoot some of my own projects. I'm still working on my script which is an action war film based on the war in Iraq. That's about all for now.

Jeremy's Update - Monday, September 05, 2005

Hi everybody,

I went camping with my family in Yosemite recently and that was a lot of fun. We were there for about a week and we hiked, fished and played golf. Just before we went, we saw Harry Eden and his family who were in town to promote Harry's film "Pure."

I'm hoping to get my drivers license in a couple of weeks. School starts again next week so I'm looking forward to seeing some old friends. Yesterday I went to see the NASCAR race in Fontana at the California Speedway. We were right by turn four on the infield. That's about all for now!

Jeremy's Update - Wednesday, August 03, 2005

Sorry it's been such a long time since I posted. I spent about six weeks in Oregon shooting "The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang." The cast and crew were a lot of fun to work with. On our days off we went bowling and I also went fishing at a river near my hotel. On the set, I hung out mainly with Hubble, Rob and Addie. There were also a lot of fans who got to be extras in the movie. The script is hilarious and I hope you will go out to see it when it is released sometime next year.

After we wrapped, I was glad to be back in Los Angeles where I decided to take a break. I've been playing a lot of basketball, playing golf a few times a week and swimming in my pool. I've also been seeing my friends. Last week I went on the annual family raft trip which is always a lot of fun. I'm still reading scripts and looking for a cool adventure or drama!

Jeremy's Update - Friday, May 27, 2005

Hey everyone, I'm back from Toronto. It was a great shoot and I had a lot of fun working on this film and I hope you all enjoy it. I m taking a week off to see my friends, family and to get out and surf. I'm also going deep sea fishing.

I've got a new laptop computer, but I am rarely on the Internet and I know that there are a lot of problems with posers, so if someone says they are me, they are not. By the way, I do not have myspace. Take my word for it, they're all posers.

I'm about to start a new film next week that shoots in Oregon that is called "The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang." It's a lot of the same people from "Napoleon Dynamite" and its a hilarious script! I think you all will enjoy it and will be quoting lines from the movie. I'm also looking at some other film scripts that look pretty good and when I decide something, I'll let you know.

Jeremy's Update - Thursday, March 17, 2005

Hi Everyone:

Sorry I haven't given you an update recently but I've been busy with school and reading scripts. Hopefully I will have good news for you about a movie soon! I just did a photo session for PopStar! and we'll have some new photos for the web site soon. I didn't end up going to Magic Mountain for my birthday as I had planned but had a few friends over and we watched movies. Thanks to everyone who sent cards and presents!. I'm planning on taking my driver's permit test when things slow down. I've been spending what little spare time I have rollerblading, surfing and playing golf. Hope to see you soon!

Jeremy's Update - Friday, January 28, 2005

Hi everyone, I know it's been awhile since I posted here. I spent Christmas with relatives in northern California. We opened presents and had a big dinner. I got a really nice poker set and some clothes.

For New Years, my family and Mark went bowling, then came back to my house to play poker and sing karaoke.

I've been doing a lot of fishing lately. The Kentucky boy is coming out in me. I've also been playing a lot of basketball. I'm finally caught up with my school work and my favorite subject right now is World History.

I've been getting a lot of scripts, nothing really interesting yet though. So we'll see. There are a couple of films shooting later this year that look like good projects.

For my 16th birthday, we're going to a big theme park and then afterwards, we're going to my house for a party. I'm also looking forward to taking the test to get my drivers license when I have enough time.

Thanks for all the Christmas and birthday cards. I really appreciate having friends like you!

Mark wanted me to mention once again that I do not have an e-mail address and am rarely on the Internet. I hear there are a lot of posers out there. Talk to you later!

Jeremy's Update - Monday, December 06, 2004

Hi!

I hope everyone had a great time for Thanksgiving. I spent the week in Hawaii on the North Shore of Oahu with my family, my manager and a producer from New York. We had a house right on the beach which meant that I got to surf every day. I also surfed near pipeline. Maybe I'll have Kris post some of my surf pictures.

We took a hike up to the waterfalls at the Audubon Center and then went swimming. I also went out on a boat 3 miles from the island to get into a shark cage and saw about 20 sharks.

Now that the vacation is over, I'm back in Los Angeles doing schoolwork and reading film scripts. I'll let you know once we find something really good!

Jeremy's Update - Thursday, November 11, 2004

Hi, Everyone,

If you haven't already heard the bad news by now, "Clubhouse" is canceled. It was a great experience for me and I became close with the cast, crew, casting directors, producers and writers. I'll miss them all. I hope you all enjoyed the show. Thanks to CBS for giving it a shot. We're looking at some film scripts but haven't decided anything yet. Now that I have a little more free time, I'm hoping to do some personal appearances soon and would love to meet you all! I'll see you then!

Jeremy

Jeremy's Update - Thursday, October 14, 2004

Hello everyone,

I hope you are enjoying "Clubhouse!" For all of you who are wondering, I am not dating Leah Pipes. She's a nice girl and a good friend, we're acting! We're about to start episode 10. It's a lot of hard work but we still have fun on the set. There are some really funny episodes coming up. I've been playing a lot of baseball with the "Clubhouse" team. We're 2 wins and 3 losses. I've also been golfing a lot. With filming a school, I've been very busy. I have to do 3 hours of school on the set in-between my shots. Keep watching the show! Thanks!

Jeremy

Jeremy's Update - Monday, August 23, 2004

Hi Everyone,

I've been busy working on "Clubhouse." We're about to start filming episode 4 and I'm having a blast. Usually I have to be on the set at 7 a.m. Then I have a quick breakfast, go to the hair and make-up trailers, then go to wardrobe to see what I'm wearing that day. Finally I go to the set where I spend most of the rest of the day filming scenes. The whole cast is great to work with and we have a lot of fun. At lunch, I usually invite any of the other kids on the show to eat in my trailer. We usually work at the studio from Monday through Friday, but sometimes we go on location to a stadium in Long Beach. When I'm not working on the show, I'm usually doing interviews and photo sessions so I don't have much free time. On the weekends I just try to relax and either play golf or go to a movie with friends. That's about all for now. I hope you will watch the show on Tuesday nights. Thanks for all your letters!

Jeremy

Jeremy's Update - Friday, June 25, 2004

Hey everyone,

On Friday, the 18th, I went white water rafting with my father, P.J. Hogan (the director from "Peter Pan") and his son spike on the American River in Sacramento. It was a lot of fun. The next day we went to San Francisco to see the redwoods which were incredible.

Last week I met some of the writers for "Clubhouse" and we discussed ideas for some of the episodes. The show will start production in about a month and I'm looking forward to working again. I've gone surfing a few times, usually play basketball each day and hang out with friends. I'm also going to start doing interviews for the show and hope you will watch in on Tuesday nights on CBS.

Jeremy

Jeremy's Update - Sunday, May 23, 2004

I know it has been a long time since my last post but things have been kind of crazy for me.

I had a great time in Tokyo both promoting "Peter Pan." The first time I went was in early March. I did a lot of interviews for magazines. Then I went to Mexico for the premiere. It was good seeing Jason there. I wished I could have stayed longer but I was about to start filming my pilot. More on that later. The second trip to Tokyo was for the premiere which turned out to be a lot of fun. There were a lot of girls there! While in Tokyo, I was offered a pilot for CBS about a bat boy for a New York baseball team. Originally I was not planning on doing any television since I love working on films so much. But after reading the script it was awesome and really seemed to fit my personality. I had also worked with some of the people previously. One of the producers wrote "Just A Dream" and the director was also the director on "Murphy's Dozen." I really had a lot of fun filming this pilot. It was hard work but it paid off since CBS picked up the show for the fall season. It will be on CBS on Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. Going to New York for the announcements for the fall lineup was busy and crazy but I loved every minute of it.

Now I'm back in Los Angeles taking a break. I haven't had a lot of free time but when I do, I hang out with my friends, go swimming and have become interested in playing pool. Everyone keeps asking about a girlfriend. I have to say right now that I just don't have the time for that. :)

The Ronald McDonald Walk turned out to be a lot of fun. I met a lot of fans, got to talk to them and met a lot of kids who live at the Ronald McDonald House. We had a bbq with the families and raised a lot of money for a great cause.

I appreciate all the fan mail that I am getting and try to answer as many as I can. I can't always answer everybody. :(

I did get a chance to go back to Kentucky with my dad for a short visit and hope to go back soon. Right now I'm just going to chill with my friends until I start filming clubhouse. My manager will be posting some new pictures from Clubhouse soon. I'm sorry I can't post more often. My schedule has been really busy and it's going to only get worse once filming starts but I do appreciate all the fans that come to my board. Until next time, cya!

Jeremy

P.S. Be sure to catch my twin sister Jessy on "Strong Medicine" June 20th!

Jeremy's Update - Monday, April 12, 2004

Hi, I thought I'd give you an update on what I've been doing! I've been very busy shooting "Clubhouse" both in Los Angeles and New York. We shot at Dodger stadium and on the Staten Island ferry. If the show gets released, it will be on CBS this fall, so watch it or else. lol

Then I went to Tokyo for the premiere of Peter Pan. It was a lot of fun. I wanted to play golf there but I forgot to bring my golf clubs, so I went to Mt. Fuji and swam in the hot springs.

I'm going to Kentucky next week for relaxation after everything I've been doing. The DVD of Peter Pan is released in the US on May 4, so you can buy it or rent it.

By the way, I don't have a girlfriend right now but am looking for one. Got to go.

Jeremy's Update - Monday, March 01, 2004

Hey everyone!

This is Jeremy and I wanted to thank everyone who sent a birthday present and birthday card. They were all received by my manager and he brought them to me. I appreciate it very much. It was very thoughtful and I just wanted everyone to know that my sister and I had a great birthday. I got a new Yamaha TTR 125 trail bike. My dad got the TTR 250. We had a great day riding the first day out but then my dad shattered his left tibia. I had to ride on my bike three miles to get the rangers and then bring them back to where my dad was. He was eventually air lifted out by helicopter. I spent the rest of my birthday with Spike Hogan, his father directed "Peter Pan."

As far as "Peter Pan" goes, I am still working on publicity. I am going to Tokyo at the end of February and then to Mexico. I will make a European tour in March and April. I'm also busy with school. Even though I'm being home schooled, I still have a lot of homework to do.
